Hawaii contradicts network boss' claim that Obama certificate no longer exists

Directly contradicting CNN chief Jon Klein – who ordered host Lou Dobbs to quit discussing President Obama's birth certificate – the Hawaii Department of Health affirmed that no paper birth certificates were destroyed when the department moved to electronic record-keeping.

"I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department," Janice Okubo, public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, told WND. "When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don't destroy records."

Okubo affirmed that beginning in 2001, all vital records, including birth records, moved to electronic formats.

"Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department," she insisted. "We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have."

That is *exactly* what I said would happen — if — the State of Hawaii did not do that.

I was discussing this very thing with some other FReepers and was commenting on what Lou Dobbs said. I said this is what has been reported. And I said that if this is *wrong* — there will be a *contradictory news report* that will come out which will say something that the State of Hawaii denies this...

And that was just a couple of days ago I said that. So... right here... we have that *very same thing* that I said would happen (i.e., a contradictory news report from someone in the State of Hawaii) which would be reported.

It happened a mere two days (maybe three) after I said this... LOL...

I had already said that if the news report was false that this is exactly what they would do... and they did exactly what I said they would do...

And until they did, I was reporting exactly what was reported in the news and that was straight from the news report itself...

So, it worked out exactly like I said it would — as I was explaining to another FReeper that this is how the “news” works...

Something gets reported, if it is false, then other reporters contact sources and ask questions. If they find the error in the original report, they put out another news story and it is *denied* and the source is given.

This is precisely how the news is supposed to work...

NPR's On Point program today had a "birthers" segment, and the host Tom Ashbrook made the point over and over that there was no "paper" birth certificate because the State of Hawaii destroyed them after moving to an all digital record system in 2001.

So if the records weren't destroyed, then it should be easy for Zero to release the record that shows the attending physican and the hospital, rather than just a copy that says 'born in Hawaii.'

Here is where I refer to how the “news” works and how the State of Hawaii would come out with a denial of such a report if it turns out to be false...

A direct statement of fact like that would be immediately repudiated by a state, if the state never did such a thing. You would have FReepers all over the place documenting such false statements and the other news sources would be *hammering* Dobbs, because they’re already looking for something to hammer him on, since he’s been reporting on the birth certificate issue. Dobbs, himself, even makes note of the other “liberals” who are hammering on him. They would *love* to get Dobbs on a untrue statement, because of what he’s reporting on Obama’s birth certificate.

So, that’s the beauty of our system (both with news sources and with Free Republic) is that it would be repudiated in such short order that everyone’s head would be spinning around here... LOL...

As I said, I would love to hear such a repudiation of those facts given in the news report...

Obama removes star from all flags denoting that Hawaii is no longer an American State.

Folks we are watching an approaching Obama tsunami, its at sea but is approaching land very soon, he has the illegitimate office of POTUS at his disposal and HE WILL strike back.

This man will not step down, he will bring America to its knees first, this birther issue has its own momentum right now.

We should very much consider the multi pronged attack, a frontal assault so far has created a very stout defensive countermeasure, to effectively breach the defense we must absolutely not rely upon this course of action.

We now look more upon his other classes of citizenship, or as I may eloquently phrase him as being a “tri-citizen” of Kenyan, Indonesian and American.

He has failed to qualify, our actions now are to enforce the law and the penalty of that action as deemed by our forefathers and our United States Constitution.

Let me tell you how this is going to “play” with the liberal and MSM, in regards to Lou Dobbs. They’re going to say that Lou Dobbs was “playing into the idiocy” of the whacko right-wing conspiracists, by even airing this kind of report in the first place. And now we see that this is how such idiocy gets started and spreads. Lou Dobbs should have left such whacko ideas of the birth certificate out of real news and this is an example of why....

More or less, and in perhaps different words, this is what you’re going to get from the liberal and MSM about Lou Dobbs and him reporting on the birth certificate issue — because *that* is what he was trying to do. That mention of the discarding of the paper by the State of Hawaii was a “side issue” to his main interview of the two guests.

Now all that people are going to take away from this Lou Dobbs story (in the general public) is that Lou Dobbs was nuts for even giving this conservative any “air time” for being able to “mention” the birth certificate issue in the first place...

Hawaii is the traveling hub for the Pacific rim. The US military has had a presence there for more than 100 years and will continue as long as there is a US.

People pass through the islands, have babies and stay for a while -- the "Certification of Live Birth" only shows "City, Town or Location of Birth":

SO for the Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) program ... how will the state KNOW who is of native Hawaiian blood from those who are Haole (Hawaiian for "outsiders") 100 years in the FUTURE??

The state of Hawaii won't turn to the incomplete "Certification of Live Birth" (what Obama's shown the world) to determine "blood quantum" -- they will do an internal background check, working with the Hawaii Vital Statistics office. They'll want to see the ORIGINAL birth certificates, registered testamentary, hospital records, etc, to CONFIRM the person's lineage.

If you turn in a "Certification of Live Birth", rest assured -- they're NOT going to accept it on face value -- they will verify it internally against the ORIGINAL birth certificate(s) that the state of Hawaii has archived!
