Really, is this what it comes down to? I am a natural skeptic, but even of our skepticism, I don't want to devolve into cynicism. I am just asking for goal posts. I'd like to see the "long form" BC, unedited. That would satisfy me personally. I don't have much of a hard opinion either way, except that I suspect that there is probably other info on the BC that is embarrassing, even if he is proven to be a "natural born citizen".
As for using the term "birthers", you notice I put it in quotes, because its what others call the "Obama Natural Born Citizenship Skepticism Movement", just trying to save some typing. I didn't mean anything else by it. And if it bothers you, hey, butch up Newbie, this is FR!

The lib elites are trying to kill the Birther movement b/c they see more and more people suspicious of Obama's origins.
This just creates more confusion and questions which is likely what Obama team wants. First, she is not the authority on the determination of Obama as a Natural Born Citizen. Second, if he is really a Natural Born Citizen then Barrack Sr. is not the father. Either she does not know what she is talking about in regards to the NBC issue or the COLB is incorrect. Also what vital records is she referring to. The Long Form BC?
It almost seems like an organized effort, doesn't it?
1) Gibbs on Monday says, “The President was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the 50th state of the greatest country on the face of the earth.”
2) Hours later, a story runs from the Washington Post where Fukino states, “I ... have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen,” Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said in a brief statement. “I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.” Like she knows what NBC really is ... LOL.
3) About the same time, we hear about H. RES. 593 passing this evening, “Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii”, sponsored by longtime Obama-schill Rep. Abercrombie.
It matches a similar campaign going on the Internet since about July 1. Pardon me if you've seen it before — I'm reposting for those who HAVEN'T seen this:
1) the entire “Fight the Smears” website has been removed from the internet, and the archive of the website has been removed at the request of the owners from Archive.org:

5) the July 9, 2009 Modern Ghana story, that says, "For Ghana, Obama's visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth" -- has been changed. The last part of the sentence NOW reads, "presidential visit to the continent of his father's birth."

6) the famed Nov. 4, 2008, API story that says, "Obama described his birth at Queen's Medical Center" was changed to reflect that the hospital of birth is Kapi’olani Medical Center.

It would be hard to believe that a court of law at that time would recognize that the couple were married without proof and give them a legal divorce if they were not. Even if they were not married; in todays society it hardly merits a glance; so I don’t understand why Obama would worry about it in todays free society; and especially in the groups his mother appeared to travel in. Doesn’t compute.
I disagree in that if Obama is the gangster we know him to be, we should throw everything we can at him, make his tenure as short as possible, make it impossible for him to make a move politically while there is still time to avert disaster.
Obama's popularity has to fall faster because this government has become so corrupted that it's going to take a massive political uprising from THE PEOPLE to set things right.
I think it has to start at the top, expose the obvious fraud perpetuated by Obama, and make an example of him so that all the other pampered, disrespectful, arrogant politicians will understand that they are not untouchable.
I am a child of the sixties and yes things like unwed motherhood were shocking; but not so much with the youth and today; nothing. You know communes and things like that.
The words are overly parsed. Sorry, I take nothing for granted, including the officials’ honesty, for they have already shown themselves in a conspiracy to hide official information from parties with clear, weighty, and tangible interest in the whole facts as they may be known of Obama’s birth and citizenship.
Last night I thought the same. I responded in order to make a few points that would apply in any case. What has the morning brought of news on this report of a statement by the Hawaiian Director of Health?
Excerpt from attorney Orly Taitz letter to Congress:
“There is plenty of evidence of Mr. Obama being born in Kenya and obtaining his Hawaiian birth certificate based on a statement of his grandparent only, who simply didn’t want to deal with immigration and not based on any records from any hospitals. Extensive searches in the State of Hawaii showed no birthing records for his mother [Stanley] Ann Dunham in any hospital in Hawaii.”
Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo: "They just keep asking over and over and over again!"Well, Janice Okubo, that's perfectly understandable! Why? Because, Okubo, your people have not been forthcoming of the needed facts. Instead you and yours have been misdirecting and giving partial answers, claiming that part which is in reality too small, to be the equal of all answers.
His last legal change of name occurred when he was adopted by his stepfather, so the birth certificate would STILL say Barry Soetoro, NOT Barack Obama.
Western law revolves around the ability to legally identify someone. 'Barack Obama' HAS NO legal identification and is making damn sure no one can see any evidence to the contrary.
It's why everything- birth certificate, driver's license, school records, medical records, financial records, passport..... EVERYTHING has been sealed.
He's a fraud, and he and the Democrats are terrified the general public will find out about it.
Actually, he is using campaign dollars.
