I agree. We should make Obama an honorary American.

o.k. Dem Rep. Neil Abercrombie, if you want to go down with the fraud, you go right ahead.
SHOW US THE REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, not the COUNTERFEIT birth certificate of the COUNTERFIED pres.

Or they could subpoena the documentation that would settle the question, since it is relevant to legislation on the floor.

In the language of the resolution, there is a statement that Hawaii is the birthplace of the 44th President of the United States, Abercrombie spokesman Dave Helfert confirms.Ask politely that all statements of fact in the resolution be documented.

An honorary citizen, just not a natural born one.
Schwarzenegger comes to mind ...

They can also add that they wish to recognize his childhood home with a Marker and will do so when that information is available.
To: dogbyte12
This is perfect.
I think the republicans can simply say that there is an issue here, let’s see proof to put these “birthers” to rest.
I think this will back fire, big time.
Watch, Obama will probably suggest they not do this...
This forces the issue and brings it out into the open.
There is too much that goes un-answered.
And why is it, the the MSM and this idiot Gibbs continue to tote out in front of us the Certificate of Birth that means nothing and has been shown to be fraudulent.
To: dogbyte12
Easy.
Just vote “present” and demand evidence to determine one way or the other.

Taming of the Shrew:
At last they started for her father's house.
"Look at the moon," said he.
"It's the sun," said Katharine, and indeed it was.
"I say it is the moon. Contradicting again! It shall be sun or moon, or whatever I choose, or I won't take you to your father's."
Then Katharine gave in, once and for all. "What you will have it named," she said, "it is, and so it shall be so for Katharine." And so it was, for from that moment Katharine felt that she had met her master, and never again showed her naughty tempers to him, or anyone else.
Congress can say anything they want but they cannot change the truth.

Somebody should offer an amendment to change the wording from Hawaii to Kenya. Then vote aye!
To: dogbyte12
Actually, a piece of legislation like this would be great fodder for continuing the court cases seeking rememdy for the birth cert issue.
It would make it easier for a court to order Hawaii to release the birth cert....since now any birther can claim they need the birth cert. to prove that the govt was wrong in their resolution

If he could prove it they wouldn’t need a stinking resolution.

It’s kinda funny. Because there is no proof, Congress has to vote on whether Obama was born in Hawaii.

That is what I was thinking. This situation was created by the Dems to create a “Damocles sword” situation for the Republicans. However, a little bit of political judo and you can now offer a subpoena in committee to resolve the issue and ask for an forgery specialist to review the documentation. All in the interest of truth and putting this issue to rest.
This would flip the Dems and put them on the defensive. Because the if they vote against allowing for the subpoena, they give cover to the Republicans to not support this “unsettled issue”.
