The nomenklatura were a small, elite ruling subset of the general population in the Soviet Union and other Eastern Bloc countries. Its members received separate, superior housing, health care, travel privileges, could shop at special stores without lines and with plenty of goods, etc. Even their vacations were subsidized by the state.
You can bet our Overlords will get different treatment, from tonsils to MIRs, and their elderly will not be put on the Obamacare Iceberg when their care becomes expensive.
