He has no right of free speech at this mall. It is private property. The mall owners may do what they like.

Not quite. Depends on the terms in the lease. Any number of businesses (gun shops, for example) will ask for -- any many times get -- terms written into the lease that they are exempt from complaints about the sale of products that are fully lawful to sell in the location in question.
With the huge slump in commercial real estate, I should be VERY surprised if such terms are becoming more and more common. Especially so after this little incident.

Typo, sorry. Should read ‘’NOT becoming more common’’ instead of ‘’becoming more common’’.

"He has no right of free speech at this mall. It is private property. The mall owners may do what they like."So they can post signs saying NO BLACKS ALLOWED? I think NOT!

It is private property. The mall owners may do what they like. That's basically correct, as long as they abide by applicable laws and the terms of the lease. But potential customers also can do what they like as well and are free to tell the managers and owners of the other stores at the mall why they are no longer spending their money there.
