WASHINGTON (CNN) It looks like Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may have one less fan.
On the same day that Palin is set to transfer power to her lieutenant governor, Republican strategist Alex Castellanos said her prospects for national office looked grim.
Ive been a supporter of Sarah Palin at times, Castellanos said Sunday on CNNs State of the Union. She gave the McCain campaign its best two weeks. But, you know, if were going to be critical of Democrats when they shirk their responsibilities, we have do the same within our own house. She abandoned her state in the middle of a term.
On the national political stage, Castellanos, who worked as a political consultant for Mitt Romney's 2008 presidential bid, likened Palin to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Castellanos is wrong. Palin did not abandon her state. She participated in the orderly transfer of power from the active Governor to the active Lt. Governor of the State of Alaska as proscribed by law.

Funny how we’re not hearing the same cries of “abandonment” regarding Sanford, who truly did abandon his post to chase some tail across the globe.

“Ive been a supporter of Sarah Palin at times, No you haven't.
Castellanos said Sunday on CNNs State of the Union. She gave the McCain campaign its best two weeks.”
A heck of a lot more than 2 weeks. Without her, McCain would be looking at under 40% of the popular vote..
” But, you know, if were going to be critical of Democrats when they shirk their responsibilities,”
You never criticized -11bozo for abandoning his US Senate post to go out and campaign after serving less than 100 days total doing any proper work
” She abandoned her state in the middle of a term.
She resigned after unending no-merit so-called “ethics” complaints made it impractical for for her to continue as governor, and she left a very competent new governor in charge. She should be commended for giving up power (to go campaign if she wants to), instead of drawing a salary like -11bama did in the US senate, while doing ZERO work to earn his pay.
Why do these useful idiots come from anyways?
Just look at the headline” Republican says such and such". What kind of Republican allows himself to be used as a stool pigeon by Obamabot CNN, while attacking fellow Republicans? How much is Soros paying this loser to spew this garbage?
To: Brad from Tennessee
Figures.
Would explain why this Castellanos didn't even put up a squeak, when Obama abandoned his US Senate seat to go campaign full time, even while still drawing a full government salary.

Is there one RomneyBOT who is not attacking Gov. Palin or supporting Obama?
"Alex Castellanos, Romney media consultant "
"Alejandro "Alex" Castellanos (b. 1954, Havana, Cuba) is a U.S. Republican Party political media consultant who specializes in television advertising, and was a top media adviser to Bush Cheney '04 as well as Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.[1][2]."
"In late February 2007, the Boston Globe obtained a leaked copy of an internal Romney campaign document describing the campaign's plan to win the Republican nomination.[1] That document, produced by Castellanos, drew attention by implying the campaign's poor view of the sitting president.[2] Specifically, the document advised that that Romney should create distance between himself and President George W. Bush by focusing on the separating factor of "intelligence."[1]"
"The plan, which top Romney strategist Alex Castellanos helped to draft, charts a course for Romney to emerge as the nominee, but acknowledges that the "electorate is not where it needs to be for us to succeed."

Romney has the money to buy all kinds of inside the beltway support but not popular support.
That’s where Mitt falls flat on his face.
The beltway gang who support him better understand the grassroots will remember what they say and jeer them off the stage.
