I am not a linguist by any means but according to grade school grammar rules I would think that the sentence says that not only does Maya have three parents but the third parent is Barack Obama who is half-sister to the 44th president of the United States.
My seventh grade teacher is no longer living so I cannot consult her.
Now and then I do a big rant about the deterioration of language skills in this country, some of you who have a classical education should help me out with this.

We have anecdotal evidence here on FR that the Texas short form, very similar to Hawaii's, is NOT acceptable evidence for the issuance of a passport. What would make one short form acceptable and another not is unknown to me.
In any case, your quotation from Hawaii, "Certified copies of these records may be issued to authorized individuals and used for such diverse purposes as school entry, passports, Social Security participation, driver’s licenses, employment, sports participation, survivor’s benefits, proof of property rights, and other needs." appears not to refer to the Hawaii short form since the reference is to "copies of these records," and the Hawaii Certification of Live Birth is not a copy of anything, it is a document of first impression abstracting another, primary document. The "copy of the record" would be a certified copy of the primary document, in this case, the Hawaii "Certificate of Live Birth".
But I do, and that's why I made this fact avialable to you and others.

Circa 1995 I got a US passport with a short form birth certificate. The short form birth certificates are utter BS because I know what my long form looks like. I saw it years ago but it got lost
My long form had 5-10 items that are not on my short form

Funny, the article offered no evidence to back their statement.
Obama's forged COLB did NOT use Maya's COLB - that was a false claim made by Techdude, an identity thief and fraudulent researcher. There is no evidence that Maya ever got one.
This is a key piece of what was a huge puzzle for me. In the time during which 0bama was born, air travel was expensive and infrequent. It would have been extremely unlikely for him to have been born overseas as his mother, as an 18 year old, would have been unable to afford the air fares. With an affluent, indulgent grandma, it would have been much more possible.
Speaking of forgeries, I wonder who bought this 1960 graphic type machine in April, 2009, sold online, and may be similar to the graphic machine that was used to print BCs/COLBs?

I have in my posession BOTH kinds of Birth records for my son, Charles, born in Honolulu on January 12, 1968. I ordered up the Certification of Live Birth to compare the information on it with the Certificate of Live Birth already in my possession. I was curious, you see.
The number in the upper right of the Certification of Live Birth is the File Number of the actual record of the birth.
When I said I KNOW the answer I was telling the truth.
