Former Florida Senate President Jim King, who sometimes fought Gov. Jeb Bush and his own Republican Party over the Terri Schiavo right-to-die battle in 2005, died Sunday after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, a family spokeswoman said. He was 69

I doubt that they’re in the same place.
Thanks tutstar!
Author of the Death with Dignity Act. Pro-abort and pro-euthanasia. (as per the St. Petersburg Times.). He was Florida’s amiable Boss Hogg.
Per the St. Petersburg Times.
Did you know that Jim King was paid tons of dough by Michael Schiavo's close friends the Jergers. Jim King was pals with Judge Greer too. Jim King was from Pinellas County and went to bat for a wife abuser.
He was a RINO. That's a correct statement.
Terri's LAST HOURS on my profile page by Father Pavone. She was martyred. King died of natural causes.
Tons of Americans, not just Floridians left the party over Terri.
Dr. Ron Cranford died (he was on board to kill Terri.) He died not long after Terri.
I can’t mourn for a pro-abort and pro-euthanasia lawmaker who took an oath to protect The Constitution. He took lots of money from Pinellas County fundraisers. He was like Charlie Crist from Pinellas who was anti-Terri and has proven to be a big rino as governor.
My friend went to Tallahassee to meet with Jim King. He cornered her in his office and demonstrated to her how he would dehydrate her. After he shoved his finger towards her mouth to illustrate that he would swab the inside of her mouth with water, she ran out of the room, went into the ladies room and well, you can imagine.
This is a true account. She told me in person and even in simply reporting this, she was shaken. This would be on Jim King's appointment book unless they shredded it.

If Jim King was helping Michael Schiavo due to huge campaign donations from Pinellas County friends of Mikey and because Judge Greer was assigned to go to Tallahassee to get the Sixth Circuit funded and he went to his pal Jim King, King was not pro-life. He was a Hospice Hall of Famer. He was kind of obsessed with death right down to being buried w/his 2 dogs at a university (new law for Jim King).
This forum is still strong and still pro-life. Jim King stated he was for abortion and for euthanasia. These are facts, not opinions.
Jim King wanted a bill to protect trucks with "trucknutz". Jim King pushed dogs allowed in restaurants but Terri Schiavo was starved and dehydrated to death.
His priorities were bizarre. He's going to need mercy.
You were right. On that day I said to the media, "They will be punished."
Fla's unemployment is about 12%. Tourism is not so much. Property value: not so much.
GOP had the White House, the Congress, the State of Fla, the Governorship and nobody could pardon Terri? Nobody? No real men anywhere? Just rich mama's boys???? Just globalists?
This is trivia but no hurricanes have hit Terri’s county since she was killed.
Tutstar, thanks to Jim King, dogs can eat in Florida restaurants while human beings can be killed by activist judges, bad husbands, corrupt hospices and the aclu.
They all knew it was wrong but they killed Terri anyway. Remember Laura Bush took a fast plane to Afghanistan to promote women’s rights over there???????
I am glad for that. The hand of judgement rests at the downfall & debacle caused by Jeb Bush and especially GW Bush in his last 3 1/2 years of stumbling, bumbling incompetence to the Republican party, conservatism and most of all to the country.
The people are starting to figure out who's really on their side and who's a fraud; like Charlie Crist is.
I remember it well, floriduh. There was even fighting over her receiving Holy Communion. They made her suffer in every way they could.
Laura Bush is another one. I looked at her differently when she came out for fetal stem cell research. I can’t bear to look at either her or her husband.
You are right, of course. A forum like this should be pro-life. And it angers me when politicians pander to the other side. But the change I have seen here that MfO and I are referring to is the change in discourse between members. If you should happen to find yourself - even tacitly- on the "wrong" side of an issue you are vilified and impugned. While there was always some measure of that, it is orders of magnitude worse now. And, this forum has lost some of its most prolific, most respected posters it will ever know. And we all lose.
As for some pro-lifers here - pay attention. Should someone pass away who they judge not worthy, they judge, act gleeful and even mock/celebrate/laugh. (I am not speaking of a known terrorist being vaporized for example, but rather a fellow American - just visit the Michael Jackson threads.) So, I guess they are pro-life except when they are not.
Understand my friend, I think you have reasonable thought and posting history. Just beware of the hypocrites here. They have been allowed to grow in number, fester, and marginalize this site.
