Uh, no offense, but Ronald Reagan never ‘lost’ to Jimmy Carter in 1976. That was Gerald Ford who lost to Carter, since he had defeated Ronald Reagan in the Republican Presidential Primary/caucas season and was nominated as the Republican candidate for President.
Now it is true that Reagan got ONE presidential electoral vote in 1976, with Ford and Carter getting the rest. However, Reagan was not a candiate.

The statement is also untrue.
Palin never sought money for her lawyer fees. The Alaska Trust was set up by friends on her behalf—she has not solicited anything.
Turns out the state lawyer making the claims is a big Demon contributor in AK.

I just no not get all the fuss about Palin. A lot of you on FR think she is the greatest person since Reagen.
First of all, it's REAGAN, not "Reagen". Secondly, you think it's just Freepers that love her? She draws people wherever she goes like nobody else I've ever seen on the GOP side. She touches people, especially those with All-American values, in a pure natural way that no politician can fake, no matter how hard they may try. I'm sorry if you don't "get it", but most conservatives do without even trying.
