A palate cleanser occasioned by this weekends official resignation. Nothing too surprising here from any of the participants but the prospect of a Coulter/Frum faceoff over Hot Air readers favorite Republican is too juicy to resist. Plus, it beats the hell out of the umpteen thousand Alaskans debate Palins legacy pieces being cranked out by the media this weekend. Man on the street #1: I love her! Man on the street #2: I hate her! Wash, rinse, repeat.
Frum does raise an interesting point at the end, though. Of the potential big three GOP candidates for 2012 Romney, Huck, and Sarahcuda do any have the potential to unite moderates and conservatives after a bruising primary? Its hard to imagine Mitt turning out the whole evangelical base but its also hard to imagine Palin turning out Romney-supporting centrists. Huck as compromise choice?

And conservatives all over the country are now anxious and willing to receive her and support her.
Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.
Oh yeah, that happens a lot: two candidates backers can’t agree so they decide to support a ‘compromise’ candidate instead.
I hope she has adequate security protection. I wouldn’t trust any Democrat or Democrat supporter.
Schmuckabee’s natural calling is as a televangelist.
Romney will excel as a used car salesman.
Leave the presidential politics to a pro = Sarah Palin
Let's see, all of Palin's populist demeanor without any of her conservatism? What's not to like?
Hey, didn’t we just try that strategy....how well is that working for us???
Top two should agree ahead of time that the person in second place should be the V-P candidate., thus uniting the party.
I think it should just go unsaid and then that’s exactly what should be done.
I saw Bay’s face on one the cable channels and she had some major work done on her face./Just Asking - seoul62.........
No compromise. It’s Palin or I stay home.
What a piece of crap that Frum guy. First of all, he sound like a total metrosexual, second, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Then his snide remark about Jackson and unifying the Republican party really made my blood boil.
Bay is just angry that Sarah will not give her the time or day. Her talking points are straight out of the DC elite.
I wish Ann would have had more time to cut these two rinos down to size. They are lucky that the CBS info-babe stepped in.
I'd rather see Haley Barbour, Gary Johnson, or Mike Pence run. Maybe Mitch Daniels, but I need to learn a bit more there.
BTW - Frum sucks.
David Fraud is a freak and what candidate did by work for and how did they do. Also I hate allahpundit.
Hunter/DeMint 2012
We need Pence and Daniels as Senators in Indiana. They can do more good there. Replacing Lugar and Bayh.
Wait....
So by not watching this video I can avoid all three of these simple-minded, strutting, media-whoring jackasses?
Super!
