You nailed all three, all right. Here is Hawker's acerbic comment:
But upon returning to Juneau last fall, "she managed to alienate most of the 60 members of [the Alaska] House and Senate," says Larry Persily, an aide to state Republican Representative Mike Hawker. "It wasn't a matter of burning bridgesshe blew them up."
With no agenda here other then trying to find out the facts and at the risk of being called a troll, I have to ask are there Republican legislators who support her?? Is she too conservative for them or are they the ones with the "ethics" problems?? These questions are not going to go away and we know they will be asked again and again as she moves onto the national scene.
Those three guys, they are all lobbyists who took money from the oil industry. They are as crooked as they get
Larry Persily is a case in his own right. He's a Democrat who was hired to be on Palin's team after she was elected. He didn't last long and has been trashing her ever since. He's a regular on the cable channels' "Palin bashing" team of Alaskans. He was on the air trashing her from the moment she was nominated for VP.
Mike Hawker and Mike Chenault are charter members (along with Murkowski and others) of the Corrupt Bastards Club, the group of RINOs who got in extreme hot water over the VECO influence-peddling scheme. Some went to jail, although Chenault and Hawker survived even though they took money from VECO.
Jay Ramras is a corrupt, sexist a_hole from Fairbanks. He not only has made sexist remarks about Palin, but after originally supporting Palin's AGIA gas pipeline concept bought $173,000 in BP stock. BP is a partner in the competing Denali pipeline project. After buying the stock, he set about to torpedo the Palin pipeline.
All of this has been documented by Rebecca Mansour (a former FReeper) over at Conservatives4Palin where she's doing the Lord's work. She has written a series of articles that has caused quite a stir in Alaska. Her latest article (which I had honestly not seen til just now when I was researching this post) was a piece written yesterday in response to this very article that is the subject of this thread. It has links to other articles she has written which I WAS aware of. It's everything you need to know.
The Good Ole Boys Slam the Reformer
AFAIK, there are only 4 rock-ribbed "Palin conservatives" in the Alaska Senate. The rest are RINOs and Dems.
She had built a coalition of Republicans and Democrats to get her agenda passed early-on. This coalition evaporated after she came back from the campaign. The Democrats were angry because she had gone after Obama hard, and the RINOs saw a chance to get even. End of story.
Let me know if there is anything else you need.
