Aye, passage of time. I'm still coming to grips with the fact that I'm an old fart.

But a Major General shouldn't look so damn youthful. Where's the grizzle?

He is probably an Air Guard general....Adjudant General for Alaska. IF he is, he was picked by the governor and may be younger than most. In the Army most Brigadiers are in their late forties and by Major General at least 50.

I concur Johnny and can assure you that back then (68-72) Generals were older and more grizzled. I was an enlisted aide and met several at various social functions. The up and coming butt kissing officers didn’t even look this young.
