He is probably an Air Guard general....Adjudant General for Alaska. IF he is, he was picked by the governor and may be younger than most. In the Army most Brigadiers are in their late forties and by Major General at least 50.

He's a zoomie. I know zoomies. I were one. Only diff is that I was a grizzled old NCO that spoke clearly to young butterbars.

I suppose the guy can tell at sight the difference between a Mauser and a javelin. So he's qualified for Major General. Just seems like he should be older.
