All U.S. children aged 6 months to 18 years should get a seasonal influenza vaccine every year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday. The CDC's Dr. Anne Schuchat said the agency was strengthening recommendations for children to get the vaccination against seasonal influenza, especially with fears that the new H1N1 virus will be added to the already expected burden of seasonal flu.

Here’s a question: are vaccines good or bad?
I’d think good, for at-risk people, except that they can have some very questionable adjuncts... that is the solution that it’s suspended in.
They’ll have tracking devices in the fluid. Mark my words
I think Herod the Great tried this once...
This will be a good time for POTUS to lead by example, and have his two girls, his wife, and himself. be the first to protect them selves against the swine flu
The last swine flu epidemic was bogus. Just money in the pockets of pharmaceutical companies off of the gubberment dollar.
Won’t happen
I’m very suspicious of putting anything into my body that diverts my immune system. You may be strengthening your defenses against influenza at the cost of weakening them against something else; perhaps something far worse.
I know a few family members, friends, and close acquaintances who receive the shot annually, and have still had the flu. Some of them experienced the flu on at least a couple of occasions in one year(and they are healthy).
Our family has never received flu shot. I can’t recall the last time any of us had the flu.
During flu season we carry hand sanitizer while out in public. We take holistic tablets to fight colds, as well as our vitamins/minerals, and drink lots of water.
No way in hell would I have my child get this shot. It use to be when I was a kid, the local doctor and nurse would come in to the school and vaccinate as needed. Sometimes you went and sometimes you didn’t and we didn’t question it. But I question all shots (required) now. I don’t get flu shots for that very reason........absolutely no trust. With an insane government which has such barbaric ideas and is so ‘pro death’ I’ll be damn if I’d expose my child to it because frankly “Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore”
Excellent!
So far they're just saying "should". I'm worried about when they say "must".
As you noted, we grew up in an age when Americans did not question the government or the medical establishment concerning immunization. Our family now questions virtually every motive behind government regulation.
We would agree that individuals at risk should be immunized.
They’re testing the waters and preparing to cast the dye.
Thanks for the link. I did not read it before. We really need to concentrate on the 2010 elections.
Come at a concerned parent’s child with a needle that they don’t want.
Oops! Did I say that out loud?
We would agree that individuals at risk should be immunized
I’m not sure or comfortable with that even. Not now. The flu shot has been over hyped ever since it hit the scene in the 90’s. There are 1000’s perhaps 1,000,000’s of strains of flu and the shot itself contains a guard against only 1 maybe 2.
I’ve seen people come down with the flu within hours of receiving the shot. What’s up with that? And then the excuse or justification?: well it would have been much worse if they hadn’t received the shot. Bullcrap.
ALmost sounds like the stooge down in Texas that wants mandatory STD vaccinations for little girls.
