He's my best friend. I regularly walk in the mountains around here, and he runs them. I'll do 20-30 miles a week, while does 3-4 times that. He doesn't need caffeine. He just needs a place to run.

One of my favorite places is Sleepy Creek WMA, near Martinsburg (WV). I let him out of the car, when I leave the paved road. I then drive slowly, following, for 7 miles to one trailhead, or 12 miles to the other. He only stops to pee and crap. When I get out to hike, he runs ahead, behind, and on both sides of the ridges. I really have no clue how many miles. But, he hates to get back in the car to head home...

He's ahead of me again!
