Indeed there is. But you will find that the percentage of those that vote for gun control etc. is MUCH lower than in other groups and religions.

I think Jim was referring to one Mormon in particular. Of course, if you criticize that particular Mormon for his liberal political past and his flip-flopping, there are always some who slither out from under rocks to call such Mormon-bashing.

One can fuel things just by allowing and ignoring as FR nothing for years while Fr happily received our donations it is not rocket science.

He knew he could count much on of the LDS good nature to do little about it and years ago did just enough to seem neutural.

And what a shameful representation of Mormons you are portraying when the comment stated 'just like any other group of people'. You certainly will not frame 'moving toward perfection' upon Mormons if you continue to make such mischaracterizations of a thoroughly un-accusative comment. Please explain why the "polarizing people is an Obama tactic" people don't seemingly find the time to critique the Mormon church for putting it into their "Scripture" that...
...every single Christian creed is an "abomination" to the Mormong god;
...every single Christian professor of faith is "corrupt";
...and all of the Christian sects are "apostate."

But maybe I've pegged you wrong. Perhaps you can show us evidence that you have so critiqued the Mormon church for that? (Care to do so? Or does the Mormon church 100% join the Muslim idea that Christians are all "infidels?")

And did the Democrats/Liberals get their polarizing doctrines from Joseph Smith, who labeled 100% of Christian sects "apostate," 100% of Christian professors as "corrupt," and 100% of Christian creeds as abominable?

Why is it that SOME Freepers here on FreeRepublic seem so thin-skinned that the first thing they jump to if you critisize Mitt Romney, even if obliquely, is that you Hate all Mormons or as you have posted: "fueled the flames of anti-Mormonism"?

Jim simply stated a FACT, and I assume it is in reference to the FACT that Mitt Romney is not a conservative judging by his past actions.
