And Howard Hughes had his Saints to surround him.

So?

Ah, people don't support MR because he is NOT a conservative.
Honestly, I do not get how such an easy concept can be so misunderstood.

More Mormons (60 percent) identify themselves as conservatives than any other religious group

There was no intent to argue that the religions was correct simply because it had a larger percentage of conservatives within the faith than others.

The Lord should know His Church!

This thread is a discussion of a PEW survey showing that Mormons self-identify as conservatives at a higher rate than other religious groups.

It has nothing to do with any particular candidate for office, nor does it suggest that any Mormon candidate must be conservative (Harry Reid, anybody?)

No point in smearing an entire religion’s worth of conservatives simply because of hatred for one Mormon candidate.

You got that right there are not a wide gate of 30K plus and broad way there is only one way!

Matt 7

13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

I have no idea if you’ve ever said you hated MR, nor did I say you hated MR.

I try rather hard to make my posts apply to a larger audience than simply the person who raises a question about what I’ve written.

I apologize for the wording of my comment, which didn’t clearly state is was a general comment and not specifically about one person.

Actually there is no scripture on the Lord knowing His church...

Jesus knows His individual sheep...

Christianity has sheep...

Mormonism has...mormons..

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me. John 10:14

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

Just remember good Brothers, the Savior gave no response to Herod. And if we follow His example, we do not have to reply to hate, stupidity, and arrogance.
____________________________________________

But not so Christians...

They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. Mark 11:6

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord, Mark 12:29

And when they bring you to the synagogues, and to magistrates, and powers, take you no thought how or what thing you shall answer, or what you shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say. Luke 12:11, 12

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 1Peter 3:15, 16

As usual Nana, you refuse to acknowledge ANYTHING a Mormon says by taking it out of context to satisfy your insatiable appetite to hate.

Remeber this ???

“Just remember good Brothers, the Savior gave no response to Herod. And if we follow His example, we do not have to reply to hate, stupidity, and arrogance.”

I’ll apply your advise in this case...
