Thanks Army Air Corps! Let's give governor Perry another pingout.

For Freepers following along, just some additional quotes and background on/from the good governor. This one from him in particular got my attention:

Of those Texans who might consider supporting the plan[obamacare], he said: "This may sound a little bit harsh, but they might ought to consider representing some other state because they’re sure not representing Texas."

You go guv!

This might actually be a good thing. If Perry can get this worked up about the 10th Amendment there may be hope yet. I say bust up the Union and let the welfare states try it alone.

Texans never hear anything out of her EXCEPT at election time. She doesn’t have a chance. She sure would have the guts to stand up to Washington Goons.

Ah, some quotes from Governor Perry are now going in my letter to Governor Daniels in Indiana.

I had written to Gov. Daniels about the Obamacare scheme, and got a letter back from an aid telling me that it is a federal issue, and that I should write to Senators Lugar and Bayh instead. I already wrote a reply to the aid and to Gov. Daniels that NOTHING that happens in Washington doesn’t affect Indiana . . . get with it!

Now, I am writing another letter insisting that he stand with Governor Perry and other Governors for the 10th Amendment, states’ rights, and RESIST nationaized health care.

I called the Governor’s office yesterday and waited to speak to a live person in order to tell them that I’m proud of him for standing for State’s Rights and opposing mandated growth of Federal power.

The proposals to add to our Medicaid numbers anyone who makes less than 150% of the federal poverty level will bankrupt our State in spite of the fact that we’ve tried to manage spending.

On the other hand, the Feds will continue to collect income tax from Texans and send it to New York and other States that fund Medicaid to 200% or 300%.

too intoxicated to drag the woman they are taking home from the bar.

I don't think Teddy was taking her home - not over that road path anyway. He never did say why he tried to make the Oldsmobile float.

RC2, I called my congressman..which is Chet Edwards (yuck), and the aide who answered the phone told me when I said the idea of government run health care is not in the Constitution interrupted me saying that’s not right because of HR bill “so in so”. It caught me so off guard I didn’t get the exact one he was quoting..he quickly said “well, that’s not important at this time.” A real smart A—. Then, very condesending said, “I will record your complaint.”

I wouldn’t support KBH, most especially in a
primary for Gov against RP.

Perry will get my vote, for sure...

Unfortunately, Perry is as much of a big pharma puppet as anyone in Washington DC pushing for this scam (such as Waxman, Ted Kennedy,...). If you recall Perry tried to force via executive order the risky and controversial Gardasil vaccine (for venerial disease, genital papilloma virus) on young girls in Texas.
