I agree, just that it does not appear likely to turn out that way given the other side’s insatiable hunger for power.
When one group goes after antoher group in a power grab, it usually does not end up in any ohter manner, throughout history other than violence or total domination usually followed by a cleansing of the dominated party. The jews in Germany are a prime example. The Kulaks in the Ukraine. The Indians in American frontier, until the libs started giving things back to them. In Zimbabwe the black govt. took over and has systematically been taking away all white farms including killing the white farmers and starving and killing all opposition. The protestants and catholics in Ireland have been killing each other for centuries. I could go on and on and even include the muslims over the last thousand years and their almost total elimination of other religions within their islamic states. The libs have shown no tolerance for capitalism or constitutionalists.
I really hope that your way wins out. But you better be prepared if this goes the way of all history. PS, I was not advocating violence, just predicting that we have turned a corner, and peaceful means are not likely to save me or my descendants. The choice for violence or surrender is not here at this time.
The black panthers were and are racist pigs, similar to rev wright and the Kenyan. If what I think may happen occurs there will be a lot of blacks, hispanics, Indians, etc. as our brothers in the struggle. Hope it never happens.

It took conservatives a while to jump ship from RINOs when it became clear they weren't doing a good job...and our posture toward the press was one of a fair amount of unanimity, for a while...but eventually we bailed on the RINOs...

Right, this is the RINOs core base...the ‘can we all just get along’ group - the ‘Rodney King’ Rs - lol - this is the group that needs to be minimized these days (4 to 1 - necessity is the mother of invention?), like when conservatives were being disregarded, to various degrees, in recent elections. That is the group out from which, we must extract the R party leadership...
Some of the recent bantor from the top, not holding back on using the socialism rhetoric, is promising.

I didn’t think we had a shot at this about 2 months ago...but we might be able to stop this in the House...according to one local Tea Party leader out here, some liberal blogger claimed that the letters to the Congressional offices in WA State are running 15 to 1 agin the socialized med plan...
That’s encouraging, bammy’s falling approval is encouraging, the spot swat protests and counter protests are encouraging...

Actually, I think the GOP takes the House in 2010...and we get to 47-49 in the Senate.
2012 is what I’m more worried about.
