Why not pull the boys from the Middle East (50,000 or so) and rid the US and its border of illegals and gangs?
That would make too much sense.
One of the FOX news guys got carried away and said there were 575,000 National Guard troops massed along the border yesterday.

In 2008, the feds uniformed military at the check points in South Texas. They were in place and very visible, but they were in the spots where lawbreakers and illegals weren’t. I run the valley from Brownsville to Laredo frequently and it’s been a joke for 20 years. The border patrol does a good job, but their hands are tied. Then you get the Ramos/Campion travesty, and nothing will change.
