Whatever happened to the supposed ‘unveiling’ of the Ark in Kenya recently? Did it ever happen?

No, and it was not Kenya, it was Ethiopia. At any rate, Graham Hancock in The Sign and the Seal covered this back in .... 1992.

A Grail? We’ve already got one - it’s very nice!
To: the scotsman
I would imagine it could be anywhere.

The Holy Grail was never lost. It is now known as the Sancta Caliz, and is in the Cathedral of Valencia, Spain. That Cathedral was reclaimed from the moors (”black knights”) during the 13th -century reconquista. The legend of eternal life and magical powers come from, respectively, a Moorish misunderstanding of the Christian doctrine of the Resurrection for those who receive the blood of Christ, and a series of paintings in southern France (where Graal is a local dialect’s word for “chalice,” wherein the chalice is shown with a halo, misinterpreted as a magical glow.
(Interestingly, at the time of the Reconquista of Valencia, there was a British King named Arthur, living in exile in Brittany, France, ruling the British-held continental lands, including the island of Avalon. British history recognizes John as rightful king, but the Catholic Church recognized Arthur.)

I thought everyone
switched to believing the "grail"
was a metaphor
for the Magdalene
(holding the "bloodline" and stuff).
Now we've gone back to
thinking it's a cup
a real cup like a wine glass?
That is kind of dull . . .
To: AnAmericanMother
Isnt there a punishment for doing that?

Uhhh, that was from HIGHLY reliable WND. Never happened. Go figure.

Didn't the Templars all move quietly to Switzerland? The Holy Grail is probably sitting in some Swiss Bank Vault.
