Key phrase from this bill:

Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936..

Plural. This bill affirms that BOTH parents have to be citizens. Spread this to everyone you know - this bill by itself disqualifies Obama - nevermind where he was born.

And he signed onto that definition! ... But his shills working FR will retort that if one is born on US soil, that makes one a natural born citizen ... ignoring completely that the resolution focuses on McCain having American citizen PARENTS without noting the addition requirement of ‘on US soil which they added regarding being born in the Canal zone. Which is of itself under suspicion and I think the trap Leahy et al laid for the feckless idiot McCain should he have been elected, to disqaulify him on grounds he was actually born in Colon, Panama.

The definition used by the Senate is based upon Vattel's Law of Nations. Here's some FACTS about Vattel's book:

-- On Monday, March 10, 1794, during the height of young Republic’s neutrality crisis, the Senate ordered: “That the Secretary purchase Blackstone’s Commentaries, and Vattel’s Law of Nature and Nations, for the use of the Senate.” This purchase order for these first books that the Senate bought was apparently the only books the Senate ordered in the eighteenth century

-- The first American edition was published in New York in 1796 (SEE THAT EDITION BELOW). Vattel’s book, according to Benjamin Franklin as early as 1775, was “continually in the hands of the members of our Congress now sitting.”

The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens - Emer de Vattel

If the Constitution is being set aside for the convenience of the Democratic Party, then I suggest we go buy some slaves and ban women from voting. These prohibitions disadvantage slave owners and men...

Everyone in Missouri should inundate Senator McCaskill's office and ask her to explain this.
