Scott Ott of Scrappleface. In this upside-down era, intended satire is just as legit as so-called “serious” news.

"but they are not, strictly speaking, newscasters." Neither was Cronkite!

What’s a newscaster? Probably a guy that casts all the news in the wastebasket and then babbles mindlessly about what he thinks between commercials. Favorite newscaster? Favorite undertaker. Favorite garbageperson. Favorite taxidermist.Favorite lawyer. Favorite democrat. Why would anyone have a favorite in categories like these?

"...
who is America's most trusted newscaster?" Thomas Paine. Always has been. Always will be.

You are CORRECT, Free Republic is one of RUSH's central sources for "show prep", and he is NOT alone (Howie Carr is another great example). 90% of the time I have already read what RUSH and others are talking about either earlier that day or the day/night BEFORE he talks about it. FREE REPUBLIC is the best web site on the Internet in unbias reporting and keeping us all informed and armed with the TRUTH!
Thank you Jim Rob and everyone involved in keeping FR available and up and running, we are very greatful.

WHAT? No votes for Meghan? She just shreds liberals.
But no doubt, it's Rush.
To: MikeWUSAF
I’ll second your choice. She’s at least as trustworthy as Cronkite. /s

There has not been one since Edward R Murrow. He was before my time so I can only guess that he was the original unbiased reporter.

I love articles based on a false premise. I didn’t trust Cronkite any further than I could throw him.
