I agree, but that culture runs so deep and is so pervasive, generation after generation. I need to do some research, but maybe you know — how many free, democratic, capitalistic African countries are there? I don’t know the specific number, but I do know they are far and few between.

I do know that the successful black Africans who have immigrated to America and are doing well don’t want their kids to have anything to do with “AfricanDashAmericans”.

Africa will have problems for a significant time as they are still too close to the soil, politically and philosophically. Every country is still largely animist... that means voo-doo. That means they have a feudal chief by night - Uncle Joe... and a feudal chief by day. Both of the chiefs refuse to have anyone around them have more power than them, consequently their community can never progress.

“Democracy? Its one of those white things”, bring that stuff around here and we will kill you is basically the way it works as neither of the chiefs want to lose their positions.
You have to remember they got their positions honestly... from their father, who got it from his father....

Feudal!!!

Sometimes imperialist.
