Don't Be So Square Why American drivers should learn to love the roundabout.

Here is a narrative that has been playing out over the last several years in any number of American towns: Traffic engineers notice that a particular intersection has a crash problem or is moving traffic inefficiently. After a period of study, the engineers propose a roundabout.

I was there in Nov. 07. My daughter had to have some training for a few days in Mildenhall (sp.?) so we drove around but I rented a Jetta with the steering wheel on the right side. It 1ook a little getting used to but I had a blast, also, liked the roundabouts.
You shuddup. I don't stop at the stupid traffic lights either if there is no oncoming traffic. If there is oncoming traffic, you live in the wrong place.
I think music was perfected then. Everything else today is just rehash.

It sure was/is. My boys crack me up when they have a ‘new’ song I just HAVE to listen to. Nine times out of ten it’s a re-make of something from the 70’s or 80’s, LOL!
My usual pick-me-up is Cheap Trick or Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy or Aerosmith, Van Halen or early U2, and Pink Floyd. Husband is into The Who, Eric Clapton (actually, anyone that can play a mean guitar; Eric Johnson, Joe Satrianni, etc.) and Red Hot Chili Peppers. To me, Chili Peppers don’t wear well. Their songs all sound alike to me after a while. *SHRUG*
But, there’s really no music I don’t like. A little opera goes a long way for me, though, LOL! I love polka music, the big band era, the Rat Pack, broadway musicals, I don’t care. :)
lol...I remember when the movie Wayne’s World came out - friends at school were saying, “Did you hear that new song by Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody?”
