Just ask yourself what they would’ve done if it was George W. Bush he was protesting.

Leftists always use the power of the state to punish ideological dissenters.

They usually look for excuses, like prodding them to violence and then cracking down, or, like in this case, defining opposition as a mental illness.

I could see him being put in a rubber room if he was naked and foaming at the mouth while protesting...but...

The 41-year-old German man drove through barricades around Berlin’s Victory Column the day before Obama was to speak in July 2008 and poured red paint from his car.
The Berlin state court says the man was protesting “injustice and poverty in the world” and is not guilty of any offenses for the reason of mental illness.
The court says its ruling Tuesday that the man suffers from manic depression.
He was remanded to a psychiatric institute for care.

I read that Bud Selig ordered a psychiatric evaluation of John Rocker (3.72 lifetime ERA) because of his notorious comments which were really rather lucid.

>ummm, maybe he really was irrational.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview

The Big Five factors and their constituent traits can be summarized as follows:

Openness - appreciation for art, emotion, adventure, unusual ideas, curiosity, and variety of experience.

Conscientiousness - a tendency to show self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement; planned rather than spontaneous behavior.

Extraversion - energy, positive emotions, surgency, and the tendency to seek stimulation and the company of others.

Agreeableness - a tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than suspicious and antagonistic towards others.

Neuroticism - a tendency to experience unpleasant emotions easily, such as anger, anxiety, depression, or vulnerability; sometimes called emotional instability.

When scored for individual feedback, these traits are frequently presented as percentile scores. For example, a Conscientiousness rating in the 80th percentile indicates a relatively strong sense of responsibility and orderliness, whereas an Extraversion rating in the 5th percentile indicates an exceptional need for solitude and quiet.

Although these trait clusters are statistical aggregates, exceptions may exist on individual personality profiles. On average, people who register high in Openness are intellectually curious, open to emotion, interested in art, and willing to try new things. A particular individual, however, may have a high overall Openness score and be interested in learning and exploring new cultures. Yet he or she might have no great interest in art or poetry. Situational influences also exist, as even extraverts may occasionally need time away from people.

The most frequently used measures of the Big Five comprise either items that are self-descriptive sentences [4] or, in the case of lexical measures, items that are single adjectives [5]. Due to the length of sentence-based and some lexical measures, short forms have been developed and validated for use in applied research settings where questionnaire space and respondent time are limited, such as the 40-item balanced International English Big-Five Mini-Markers[6].

This reminds me of the footage of the nurse hiding a syringe and approaching a distraught widow during the hearing of that doomed Russian sub. One second the widow is crying and yelling...the next, she's out cold.

Coming to a Tea Bag Party near you.

Coming soon to America

Probably not too many who remember Martha Mitchell. She 'bought' the rubber room; thanks to her husband John; Nixon's Attorney General. Thanks to someone; maybe 'manic/depressive' was in her family. . . don't know.

Best start building more FEMA Style camps, maybe there’ll be lots of Americans needing ‘Mandatory Psychiatric Care’ when they’ve finally had a gutfull of Obama this Autumn & Winter.

I remember. She went from the greatest hostess in Washington D.C. to “psycho” overnight. She began to implicate other people in Watergate, didn’t she? I can’t remember what she began blabbing about but I think she was trying to clear her husbands name.

The court says its ruling Tuesday that the man suffers from manic depression.

Manic depression is touching my soul
I know what I want but I just don't know
How to, go about gettin' it
Feeling sweet feeling,
Drops from my fingers, fingers
Manic depression is catchin' my soul
