Oh... Puhleeze. We are past being fooled with a COLB, even a real one, which the low-res Internet scan posted may not have been.
I call myself a “Birther”, & proudly so...but I say let’s keep our minds open & listen to what the facts are re: both “Birthers” AND “Truthers”. We need to be willing to listen to the evidence before we make up our minds on any controversy.
The Lou Dobbs recording the author references is from 6/15 and getting a bit stale. Has Dobbs said anything about it since or has he been muzzled by CNN?
And also now is the time to mention (at least in this thread, anyway...), that the *one news outlet* that has been trumpeting the Birth Certificate Issue of Obama’s — more than anyone else — is WorldNetDaily.
They have even paid for billboards around the United States asking “Where is the Birth Certificate?”
I’m not talking about blogs and private websites, but actual *news websites* — and WorldNetDaily is the only one to be featuring this day after day and week after week.
No one else does this. So, if you are concerned about the birth certificate issue, then support WorldNetDaily by going over there and giving hits to their website as they’ve been all over this issue...

knows his program did an unprofessional whack job on Orly Taitz and Amb. Keyes;
knows the Democrats;
knows the record has been scrubbed;
knows O has not provided a verifiably authentic BC;
knows O has spent big bucks trying to prevent disclosure of his BC;
knows that there is no credible reason to believe O is legitimate but suspects some know for sure he isn’t; and he
knows that his audience and the general public is not buying the cover up.
But, he is in a tight spot surrounded in the workplace by liberals and in a contact with the liberal-enabling CNN, and has to enter the issue sideways.
He needs some time to make it happen.
Obama’s not going anywhere, regardless of the truth. Can you seriously imagine if he was removed from office? Yikes. Makes me glad I live out in the sticks.

FWIW, I have to register my youngest son for a Fall baseball league. Even for a 12 year old, I HAVE TO PRODUCE A VALID BIRTH CERTIFICATE for him to play rec ball!!! Everyone, and anyone can understand the ‘need’ for valid Birth Certification!

Does anyone have a list of instruction/laws implementing Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution regarding qualifications for President.
I have done some research for South Carolina and the wording on the Secretary of State’s site seems to ,at least partly, depend on the Party to ensure candidate qualification. There is nothing about what should be submitted to substantiate that the candidate is qualified.... seems to be sort of an honor code for people without honor. I also remember (December I believe) a statement from the SOS ‘s office that they were considering asking for proof of Sen. Obama’s eligibility.... don’t remember anything else about it.
It seems that the Federal Election Commission would be other agency responsible for verifying qualifications for the candidate, but I seem to recall (on a Lou Dobbs thread) that they did not do this.
I would think the role of the court in this would be two foal, are policies in place to implement the requirements for candidacy and were these policies adhered to. If either/or both were not accomplished then the Court should implement a remedy.
