Rep. Russ Carnahan was mocked at a townhall promoting the Democrats' health care plan. At one point he is asked ""if it's so good why doesn't Congress have to be on it?" Rep. Carnahan also claimed the CBO said the health care plan would be "deficit neutral." That is untrue.

These parasite democrats need to be mocked. Then voted out of office.

"if it's so good why doesn't Congress have to be on it?"

This question should be shouted from the mountain tops! This question should be asked of every single supporter of this debacle!

Is it my imagination or does it seem like more and more of these “townhalls” are getting rather hostile?

More and more are getting video-taped, thats for sure! But it's actually a great way to protest. It doesn't require anything but the courage or your convictions and ability to craft a short cutting remark or question.

the danger of that is...Congress will “include itself” in the plan...and then write itself an exemption after everyone else is trapped

And take a look at the article on McCaskill getting protested outside her local office, and the staff flipping them off and calling the cops on them.

I think it’s time to start carrying signs with pitchforks and torches on them (for a start).

No words on the signs, just a crowd with a bunch of pitchfork and torch signs.

“These people (gov’t) are at the point of pride where they think we are all stupid.”

They think that because we have been so ‘quiet’ on major issues through the years. We have fought with calling, writing etc only to be rebuffed or ignored. Bills pass anyway but now it’s a matter of life and death for us and for our Country.

No, I've noticed the same thing. This is a good thing, IMO.

With something as important as healthcare, Congress should have some skin in the game, or rather all of it.

They are elitists, and since they’ve gained power,
they are letting their veil slip.

Real Americans don’t like elitists.
“Elites” are OK, but elitISTS are not.

This is what we and all Americans need to do. Find out the Townhall and get neighbors, relatives and friends there to tell them what we think. You need to show up with as many people as possible so you do not feel intimidated. Bring a video camera too for any youtube moments plus the traitors will know we are not forgetting what they are doing.

If a friend, relative or co-workers starts bitching about the country imploding. Tell them we are all going to the next townhall. This is the best way to get in their face.

Citizens marching with torches. Bring copies of a birth certificate and The Constitution.

But the demoRAT bastard never answered the question or any the critics or laughter from the audience. I see it was a townhall meeting at some community college and most likely the college personnel & security guards were in abundance to make sure that he would never have to fully answer any confronting type of questions.

Obama and the Dems want seniors to start thinking about and planning for death at age 60. Consult with you Affirmative Action Govt “doctor” about the best way to depart and stop spewing CO2.

Seniors who voted for Obama got the Hope & Change they were looking for now hurry up and go die.

“But it’ll be FREE!”

That was what I got when I explained healthcare rationing to an “approaching elderly” person.

I predict we won't see many more town hall meetings.
