Actually, the ham complaints were equally legitimate. It all points out that what was sold as a JOBS stimulus package with the main goal of repairing roads and bridges instead is being used as an expansion of welfare and food stamps programs.

That wasn't the context it was being framed in yesterday...people were complaining about the Govt. price for canned shelf-stable sliced ham vs. the sale price of .79 they could get a whole fresh ham for at their local grocery store. It was a stupid complaint even for people who don't know anything about Govt. contracting.

As more people lose their jobs due to Obama's policies, there will be more need for Govt. assistance, so I have no problem with the ham and cheese purchases although I would have preferred it be purchased from a small business instead of a large company like Hormel.
