Whoopi Goldberg questioned the original moon landing on today's edition of "The View." Goldberg, a co-host, wondered who shot the footage and why the flag was "rippling" if there was no wind.

I sit agape at Whoopi’s brilliance. Hundreds of thousands of people were involved in Apollo. A large portion of these people would have to be involved in this conspiracy, and it would be a miracle that no one talked about how they pulled off this hoax. Also, how many people saw at least one of the ELEVEN (Apollo 7 through 17) Saturn V rockets lift off? How many people independently could estimate the amount of rocket fuel it would take to get to the moon, and could verify that the design of the rockets (and the rest of the vehicle) was sufficient for the job?
Yeah, but not as cute.
She must have watched Geraldo last night at 9 Central with his full blown [blowhard] investigation in the presumed hoax. Dumbing down of America.
They are showing that episode again tonight.
Discovery channel is replaying the moon landing myths episode tonight.
Goldberg, a co-host, wondered who shot the footage and why the flag was “rippling” if there was no wind.....
.....Much like the “no wind” condition of the Woopsters state of mind.....
Whoopi is living proof of three things:
1. Homo Sapiens is not the only life form that can walk erect and make word sounds.
2. Ted Danson is certifiably insane.
3. If you are a negro you don’t have to be funny to be considered a successful comedienne.
I anxiously await Jesse Ventura’s expert opinion.
When insanity and stupidity get together, the result is always criminally ugly. And Whoopi has ‘em both. ....in spades.
This, from the brain trust, that said Californina should succeed from the US.
Cool! It’s a good episode. I loved when they built a model replica of the landing site complete with albedo-accurate moondust to recreate the ambient lighting behind the LEM. Those guys are nuts for detail.
Whoopi needs to get up to date. NASA has released pictures of several lunar landers taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Check them out here:

Michael Collins, the third astronaut on the mission remained in lunar orbit and didn't film the other two planting the flag. I guess they never heard of tripods.
Then somebody had to inform her through her headphone that there were other missions to the moon besides the first one.
What a dumb dumb show for dumb dumb housefraus.
Knowing that Whoopi is supposed to be a comic (feh!), is there anything in her statement to make you think that perhaps she was trying to insert humor into the otherwise dull, drab, fog-enshrouded program?
You guys should hear Joe Rogan (of Fear Factor fame) rant about how the moon landings were fake. He is actually fairly articulate, but completely delusional, in his insistence that the moon landings never happened.
There are some debates with him on Youtube, if you care to completely waste your time.
