He’s never governed well.
Romney could spend every penny of his $500 million fortune, it would not get him even the nomination. Why does he bother?
“45-48% polled would STILL go with the community organizer after all this.”
The “after all this” part hasn’t even taken hold yet. Once unemployment hits 11-12%, he’ll really take a dive. He’s barely hitting 50% approval in some polls and he’s still in the “honeymoon” stage. He’ll be sucking oxygen within months.
“McCain always did well in these type of polls too.”
Yes he did. For years, I cannot tell you how many Democrats I know would say “oh if the Republicans ran McCain even I would vote for him”.
She isn’t my ideal candidate but she is the only name being seriously talked about that would get my vote.
Yeah right. Romney who? They set us up the last time and we came away with McCain. Like that worked.
Sarah vs. Romney, where’s that poll?
She’s wipe the floor with Oboomba, even with his newsmedia army.
Have you spent your entire life being this clueless?
It was voters like you who caused this to happen in the first place. If I were you, I would shut the hell up and listen to the real Conservatives on this forum for a while.
Great post! And from this thread, Obo will easily win by sowing a few seeds of discontent; stand back and watch his opposition destroy itself. Yeah, it's way too early to predict GOP defeat no matter who is nominated as there are plenty of shoes yet to fall. But if the election were held today... the two ton gorilla is making himself pretty obvious right here in River FreeRepublic City.
I will say what I think of Romney: He’s too smooth. I don’t ever trust guys who are smooth and media-savvy. I just don’t like him at all. Now. Maybe on the ticket with Sarah—in the Veep slot. That might work for me.
Developing? Developing for what? 3 1/2 years from now? Polling companies and the media just have to keep election coverage going on a 24/7/365 basis. They can’t help themselves. Forget the fact that polls like this are the very definition of “irrelevant” not to even mention a waste of time.
Sarah hasn't announced or even begun any speaking tours.
May I add that Romney was mostly "drafted" to run in Mass due to previous economic accomplishments. The results post recovery were less than expected.
I would welcome Gov Palin to run and would support her. I am cautious to NOT draft her, against her desire though.
The news media has been on a tear, annihilating Sarah at every turn, while coddling Mittens because they know he couldn't beat Hitler.
Yet she pulls within the MOE.
You know what this is? This is Mitten's CEILING! Sarah HASN'T EVEN HIT THE COUNTRY YET!
For Palin partisans, this is nothing but unalloyed good news.
As a matter of fact, this news merits my first Major Kusanagi photo in almost a year!
"Sorry Mitt, but if there's anyone more artificial than I am, it's you..."
Best,
Chris
This is actually an amazing result, considering it includes Dems and independents and that it comes after Mitt having spent millions and millions and millions pitching himself for the role. While Palin has essentially been a caged target—taking in millions and millions and millions of the MSM’s best-shot, focused hate and, yes, lies.
Really amazing. Also note the incumbent is under 50% all of m6 months into his tern—and with all the PC-driven reticence for people to admit they might not support The One.
I hope you are because Romney is never going to be president. Too many people will just stay home.
“Oh no! Watch out Romney and family.
Hussein and goons will be after them ALL soon.”
Nah, they still know Sarah is the greater threat, and this poll shows the latest three-week barrage of Palin-hate hasn’t dimmed her prospects at all.
We don't need no stinkin' RINO's no mo' !
The MittWitts can't see what a Liberal REALLY is, and the lackluster confirms the problem with the Republican Party.
I stand corrected, I thought it was O 45, P 42. She’s not within MOE. Still, an excellent result, given the pounding she’s taken. All in all, NOT good for the Mittens.
Best,
Chris
We can do better than those two...
The media isnt going to pick my candidate this time.
