I meant to add that we increased the wages of everyone subscribing to insurance to cover what formerly had been the employer contribution. The salary increase will stay in effect as long as the employee keeps his policy in place. His wages get rolled back if he cancels his coverage.

There is not one iota of tort reform in his “health care reform” plan. However, if all hospitals and physicians become employees of the federal government, can lawyers still sue the government or will Obama place loopholes, restrictions, etc so that his legal buddies can still pillage the system?

I hope you are right.My fear is, however, that there are far too many dingbats out in flyover land who are deaf, dumb and blind to all this guy is about. I have professional friends who just don't see what we see and fear for the country. Family members as well..they will say something like, “ In Iceland everyone is taken care of, everyone gets medical care” but what they don't say or know is how much this costs the Icelandic taxpayers...
I hope to high heaven the GOP will get the guts to spit this out loud and clear. And this nightmare can be avoided. There are even uglier threats to be managed, not the least of which is this gang of thugs that met in the Chicago area who want Sharia law..heard about this on the news today..bad bad stuff going to be done and they are going to use our own constitution and laws against us not the least of which will be this new hate crime law the congress is about to bless..and 0bama our closet Muzzie usurper in chief will not stop it..wait and see.

Just like Medicare and Medicade. Govt pays the bills ...patient sues the healthcare provider. It happens right now. Just because Feds pay the bills does not protect the provider from being sued by the paitent. Ditto with private insurance.

Problem with that strategy is that not too many of the Dems are astute enough to grasp the historical reference. And, if they did, they would be acknowledging that in the metaphor, Obama compares to Napoleon (i. e., a dictator).
