I’m thinking they heard the arguments to avoid the appearance of bias - they know the history of this case, and want to make sure that they make every allowance to avoid some other legal mishap further down the road.
I think he should be provided three spins, just like everyone else in Vegas. If gets all 7s, he gets out. If he doesn’t, he has to serve twice the sentence. That’s how the Vegas judicial system ought to work.

I’m curious the make up of the court. You know when they are Demonrat appointed judges there is always injustice and disturbing decisions. Frankly, another opportunity for the Republicans should have been the judiciary appointed Demonrats and their absurd rulings. It’s an issue and points to how corrupt they all are.
