For Alaska, a Remarkably Tumultuous Year
NYTimes ^ | 7/19/09 | William Yardley

WASILLA, Alaska — Politics and parody converge in the new Alaska. Right there on Wasilla Lake not long ago, in clear view of the former residence of Gov. Sarah Palin, two Russian pastors dipped seven Russian teenagers into the water as their mothers and fathers sang Russian hymns on a brilliant morning.

I see the NYTimes has eeked out yet another hit piece on Palin and conservatives. They just can't help themselves. This one even stretches as far as he can to get some Christians-are-weird angle in the mix. And, of course, there is the obligatory "right-wing" kook hit too.

The MSM is and has been a clear and present danger to all that is good in our nation. You'll excuse me if I hate them.

The New York Slimes trying to be funny and witty?

What does a lame Tina Fey line have to do with Palin?

NYSlimes perpetuating the big lie.

They’re also willing to perpetuate the misinformation that Gov. Palin said she could see Russia from her house, though they did mention Tina Fey, but not attributing the quote to her. I’m not sure which is worse, willingly misquoting or being too lazy or stupid to verify it.

What’s next from NYT? A hard hitting expose on the Teapot Dome Scandal???

It seems that if Ms. Palin could not, in fact, see Russia from her house, she might at least have seen its people.

FUNYT.

I now understand why other society (good and bad ones) control their press more tightly than we do in the US. They are filled with miscreants who want to tear down your society no matter what. In whatever future US society comes about (even a conservative one), they may need to have the clamps put on them.

Anybody catch that the sectional sub heading was “POLITICS EDUCATION”? I also had a SarahPAC banner show up. NYT website?

More lies from the NY Times, they just can't help themselves. Their circulation is a joke and if that Gray bitch is not dead she is definitely on life support.

If they could somehow link it to today's tea parties, yes.

I seem to recall a fair amount of tumult in and around Little Rock, Arkansas, in the year after election night 1992. The New York Times declined to describe it as such, however.
