If we’re lucky, there won’t be a vote till the bums come back from summer vacation. Maybe by then, we can persuade them to abandon this krap.

I can dream; can’t I?

The truth is he ticked them off breathing down their necks and they told him to back the heck off... he knows he needs Snowe and she was balking...... we have to hold this off until August vacations and then tea party the heck out of our representatives — who I bet all head to Europe to get away from the heat — voter-led heat.

Back in March, this was a guaranteed thing. They would have been done on time...with no one doubting that. Now? With most of the plan in the open...the taxes laid out....and the 1000 pages which will likely never be read....I think there isn’t quiet the same amount of enthusiasm. I’m doubting it will be done this year...and if it’s allowed to simmer in public view for three months...some folks will read the entire document.

I'm hoping Obama turns out even less popular than Carter. O-blah-ma will always have his brain dead drones, of course, but I hope he'll soon be unpopular enough that he'll be disowned by his own party. There are already signs of dissension in the Democrat ranks, and politicians are generally very good at sensing the mood and following it. It's what they do.

I want to see him have a “Captain Queeg” nervous breakdown on national TV.

“I want to see him have a “Captain Queeg” nervous breakdown on national TV.”

I’ll bet it happens on MSNBC. They all play with their balls over there. Some times they even share.

People are VERY angry.

Which may account for the slowdown. Congressmen heard an earful from their constituents when they didn’t read the last few bills (stimulus, bailouts, etc.) before voting on them. They can sense that if they don’t take their time over this, the citizenry will become angry, and they, Congress, will lose their jobs.

The “Captain Queeg” nervous breakdown on national TV is likely, imo...I’d just like to see him resign without any more pontificating.

I know next to nothing about O’s healthcare plan. All I can be certain of is that it stinks just like Cap and Trade because it came from his adminstration.

One thing is for sure, we do need some kind of reform. IMHO, however, it all has to do with medicare, and state funded programs like MediCal. That is where the government needs to streamline and seek savings. Clean up the existing wastful programs, and there would be more than enough to cover the “legitimate” uninsured.

I say legitimate, because the 46 million “uninsured” number that is bantered about is a lie. Many are illegals, many are simply not willing to pay a healthcare premium even if they can afford it. If we filtered all of this down to those rare souls who litterally cannot provide for themselves, it would be a handful, figuratively speaking. Also, we’d probably find that there is an existing program for the legitimate ones, but they are either too dumb or do not have the mental capcity to ask for it.

No, it all comes down to control. Control over vast numbers of the electorate. Obama’s plan is yet another vote buying scheme using our tax dollars. If you don’t vote his way, he’ll target your particular group for punishment, in the same manner that his administration has leveled stimulus withholding threats against Arizona because of Sen Kyle’s defiance to this adminsitration’s spending frenzy.

It would be best if AZ could just tell Washington D.C to shove thier stupid stimulus money. We’d all be cleaner as a result.

The momentum has tipped our way slightly, we must keep the pressure on.

I believe the Repubs went easy on Sotomayor partly because they know the real battle is government takeover of health care.

Delay, Delay, Delay....

Time out benefits us as the American people start to freak out at Bill provisions and members of Congress learn how to read. This beast has to be stopped.

Study NPD, Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Some type of public melt down is virtually guaranteed, at some point.

What I know for sure is that under this so-called “health care,” people will die. That’s not all, but it’s more than enough for me.

Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D drug plans are private insurance plans, but regulated by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid services.

The Commission I receive, for a Medicare Advantage plan, was cut from $500 to $400, even against insurance companies objections.

Then, that cut was made retroactive to 15 November 2009.

Then, the definition of “renewal” was changed.

That cut most of our commissions, on Medicare Advantage plans, for $400 to $200.

This change was also made retroactive, back to the 15 November 2009 enrollment date for the 2009 plan year.

I know agents who are in the red, on their commission runs, by over $10,000.00.

There are appeals pending, and CMS claims that they are trying to respond to concerns about “first year” vs “renewal” definitions -—

But, the fact remains that the vast majority of insurance agents are conservative Republicans, and Obama has done every thing he can think of to try and get the “senior markets” agents mad at insurance companies and not him.

Most of us are smarter than that.

Most of us realize that Obama was behind these cuts and that Obama is trying to drive us “enemies of the state” out of business, and he is trying to dry up part of the financial opposition to his plans.

Dr. Josef Mengele (16 March 1911 – 7 February 1979) was a German SS officer and a physician in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. He held two earned doctorates, one in anthropology from Munich University and one in medicine from Frankfurt University. He gained notoriety for being one of the SS physicians who supervised the selection of arriving transports of prisoners, determining who was to be killed and who was to become a forced laborer, and for performing human experiments on camp inmates, amongst whom Mengele was known as the Angel of Death.
