I don’t disagree with anything that Lindsey wrote. I disagreed with using a bloggers threats as an excuse to foist upon us all a “Blogger Code of Conduct”.
That’s what I was saying. 1) There are assholes that will 2) email stupid shit to any public figure (which includes bloggers, but 3) that won’t be stopped by any blogger code of conduct.
You see, stupid asshole psycho threatening emailers don’t care about codes of conduct. That’s all.

In our current health care system provided by way of the American free market, you certainly do not have to be the victim of government or insurance company bureaucrats. You can opt out at any time and pay for your own health care out of your own pocket. There’s no one between you and your doctor. And I will tell you from personal experience, they’ll even offer you discounts for payment on the day of visit.

The guy's eagerness to bring up what happened to Timothy McVeigh, David Koresh, and Randy Weaver's wife leaves little to the imagination.
Revising and extending my remarks, the ideal free market system would include some sort of high co-pay catastrophic insurance option that does not cover any routine office visits or prescriptions or tests until a certain high level of expense has been met. People would pay the vast majority of their health care costs out of their own pockets and doctors, clinics and hospitals would be competing for their business. Costs and premiums would be kept low by the marketplace. Insurance would only kick in for something major like a stroke, heart attack or major illness or surgery. Every family would want to carry hospital insurance for that. Again competition would keep the premiums relatively low. And we’d all be much better off. And no fricken socialist government involved.

Looks like some of the ROTM anti-freepers have immatured down even more (if that is possible) and joined with the kos kids.
Like many other Frepers, I recall the bad old days of rampant leftist political violence quite well.
With the exception of the gang street violence, such as the insanity at the '68 Democrat convention, their serious violence was almost always the sneaky cowardly kind - sort of like the muslim belt bombers - except the American lefties didn't wait around to go up with the bombs they set off. Too bad.
They faced others who could fight back only when it wasn't avoidable. They preferred bombing and maiming innocent, defenseless people.
Now the old 60's terrorists and murderers are upper middle class housewifes and professors living off the fat of the land in places like Chicago and hob-nobbing with friends in high places.
If the lefties go berserk again like they did in the 60's it will start with sneak attacks and mob/gang racial attacks against outnumbered, unarmed innocents - more of the blacks mobbing outnumbered whites like the recent incidents that have been going on lately. The big difference is that they were fighting the government last time. This time they will be attacking the same people the government is attacking - taxpaying, middle America.
But this time a lot of people on the other side are ready to defend themselves. One of these times the racial gangs or other lefties are going to hit the trip wire and all havoc is going to break loose. They soon won't find it so easy to push people around and walk over them. I hope they have enough sense not to push it to the limit but that is not their style - they usually overdo everything.
