Unemployment will have to be dealt with at the state and local levels. Guess a whole shitpot load of ex government workers will be desperately seeking to learn a trade or learn how to establish lemonade or shoeshine stands.

or learn how to establish lemonade or shoeshine stands.

They’ll need business permits for that and USDA inspection of the lemons used and food prep permits and FDA inspection of the lemonade processing. They’ll need a tax permit and an account set up for sales tax collection and remittance and zone permits from the city and the county.

Shoe polish must pass enviromental laws of the city and county.

Currently there is a shortage of workers since most have been terminated so there is a waiting list for all the above processes.

Applications and permits now take about 2 years to process.

If we would eventually have better tax and trade laws we could once again become a manufacturing country and there would be plenty of jobs for stuff made in America and we'd finally be able to afford them if we weren't taxed to death.

Hell...They’ll be fired...anybody fired can’t draw unemployment.

Besides..there won’t be anybody to write ‘em a check.

States won’t write ‘em one. Hell, I wouldn’t hire a politician what can they do...steal? That’s all they know.

Respectfully beg to differ:

If the government at all levels would just get out of the way, I think unemployment could be dealt with most effectively at a personal level. People aren't stupid and would figure out what to do. Without such a massive tax and regulatory burden lots of opportunities would arise.

And any help could be organized by private charities.

That's how we used to do it, before government at all levels convinced us that we didn't know how.

Chaos is/would occur immediately ... should Social Security suddenly stop. There has to be a system that changes in predictable steps. How would the millions eat and pay utilities in the later years of their life?

I concur that all your mentioned changes must be made: it is imperative to do it in an orderly way. Else anarchy and chaos will be rampant.

Obama would/will declare ‘Marshal Law’ and move to remove (with force or shooting) all involved with such a up rising.

Not to be a nay sayer ... but a coup is the way to make changes in a disciplined way. Based on what I know of government. Not actual experience except life and age.

We must stop the ‘run away train’ that is headed full speed for America's total destruction: or a totally controlled slave form of existence.

God help us in our day. God bless America. In Jesus name. Amen.

We are looking more like Russia during Lenin's time everyday.

Congress and all elite politicians, do indeed want to remain in office. It looks that they believe that can TAKE OVER without a fight. Recently in Iran there was was an attempt at political protest. Look how that turned out in the end. To be effective we must have a plan and a back up.
