It just HAS to be The "Million Man Armed March on Washington".We would be asserting our 2nd Amendment rights, and letting those in Washington know why we intend to assert that right.

The political establishment MUST fear the people.

Eliminate the income tax and eliminate the entire host of ABC agency intrusion into our lives and commerce that feeds the lobby industry and you automatically remove a lot of graft, bribery the fights for favoritism, etc.

No federal disbursements of any kind shall be made to any state, city or local government, private company, organization or person not expressly authorized and enumerated in the constitution.

The federal government is hereby relieved and prohibited of the business of collecting taxes or revenue and then doling it out to special interests or cities, states, corporations, companies, subsidized industries, persons, foreign governments, etc. No federal entitlement programs of any kind are allowed. The government contracts out for supplies expenses for the armed forces and to maintain its constitutionally authorized offices and courts, etc. That’s it.

The federal government’s budget requirement is reduced by 90% over night. Same with its overreaching power grabbing.

Excellent idea. A peaceful million man and women march...

The very sad thing ( and Im sure the government (0bama) counts on this) ... is people are more worried about their jobs (or lack of one) or being cut down in hours and paying bills TO DRIVE AND PROTEST/MARCH.

The MSM downplayed the tea parties and didn’t even report them.

Wife and I will be in D.C. But we cannot be unspecific about what we want. The first thing we need is a limit on how much the Feds can spend. That in itself will starve the behemoth. But we need it written into law - we cannot depend on any party or person to watch for our best interests.

I meant “take the reins”...Freudian slip? “I won”...now THAT’S taking the “reign”.

Yup. We can’t lose with Hillary on board. Certainly don’t want the Speaker of the House. Besides, Hillary is twice the man that Obama is.

But .. my theory was that if you get enough of the “patriot” kind of people in congress .. then your outline would be easier to put into effect.

If the only goal is “power” - then it’s going to be a tough slog to get anything done.

“Ownership and responsibility for all federally held buildings, lands, parks, waterways, oceans, seas, etc, other than those in Washington, D.C. or military bases, forts, reservations, or local federal buildings owned by valid constitutional federal departments (see schedule) are hereby transferred to the sovereign state governments within which they reside or are located.”

Would the sovereign state governments also take possession of all weapons of war including nuclear weapons?

I have a feeling the branches of our military are going to be, let's say, *on guard* during this transition especially without a CIC to give orders.

How will this be dealt with?

Also, regarding any monies the FedGov might possess, technically, there is none.

That story about deciding not to ban smoking truly made me angry.

You know, when you go to a base nowadays, where everything is burned, you’re breathing some questionable stuff.

It’s really bizarro world when we’re talking about legalizing marijuana and outlawing cigarettes.

Should we soon expect Jim Thompson’s endorsement of the Rodham Rodent? ... When will Thompson put Peggy Noonan’s name on the FreeRepublic spell checker? She’s waiting impatiently.

Make all government employee unions illegal!!

Abolish tenure at all colleges and universities.

Require the teaching of economics in all public schools and make it mandatory for graduation.

Investigate ALL congress critters and jail as needed.

“Yup. We want to reaffirm and reestablish all constitutional rights and limits.”

You didn’t just scribble this down on a cocktail napkin in a few minutes, didja? Diabolical.

Let’s get the million there and see what happens. Two would be perfect...shut that town right down and it would take a loooong time for them to recover...my boys and I stayed at Gettysburg from the 2-5th of July...a lot of inexpensive campgrounds (and BIG open fields, that might be owned by friendly farmers) right close in...the Metro is a good way in and out...Union Station dumps you out right at the Uppper Senate Park...I think we could do this...I really do.

Secession by all 50 states? Nah, just fire the government that failed us. Reestablish the limits and elect an all new cast of characters. This is our God-given unalienable right according to those who established and formed our nation.

A couple of immediate changes I would make to the Constitution:

1) The President and Vice-President must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces for at least four years and received an Honorable discharge.

2) Any bill creating or modifying any law requires 75% affirming votes in the associated chamber to pass. Any vote to re-peal a law requires only a simple majority.
