I for one never thought in my wildest dreams I would wake up in a South American style dictatorship, where the national treasury is used as a personal bank account for outright bribes, vast swaths of the free market economy confiscated overnight by paper pushing bureaucrats, threats to family and professions are but daily occurrences to those who get in the way, with pocket-lining criminals at every lever of power, yes-men czars unanswerable to anyone running the daily machinery of government, and a complicit media machine cheering on the utter demolition of everything this country stands for with a illegally elected impostor at the helm, but here I am. Seems like a terrible nightmare. You dared call it what it is Jim. God bless you, FreeRepublic, and our fragile 230+ year experiment in liberty.
