This country is starting to resemble a bad movie.

Well, if they didn’t shot the protesters and/or put them all in the hoosegow, then we still have a little bit of freedom left.

my GOSH, I went to the website to see if there were pics and there were plenty, really good pictures of really good, clean Americans exercising their right to protest horrible legislation.

The comments there were fun to read and I cannot believe the office thought these were threatening people...those office workers must be scared of anyone over 60.

Why do I get the feeling McCaskill’s office will suddenly get a lot more attention?

We the people have been too complacent far too long and the politicians have grown to become used to getting their own way with us and our money. Obviously to too many politicians the constitution means nothing. Change is hard for everybody but those politicians who resist the demands of the majority need to go.

The left has an irrational fear (for a rational person, at least) that conservative protesters might begin to behave like lefty lib protesters.

Taking that into account, this Senate staff’s behavior is understandable, if not defensible.

I bet the left thought they had the corner on protesting.

Didn’t Missouri go for mcstain? Doesn’t sound like the bambi agenda would be very popular there.

America is now a tyranny; it just hasn't come into full force yet. Expect a lot more of this around the country.

Way too many lazy, selfish self-styled "patriots" did way too little (or nothing) for way too long, and this is the result. They gave it all up, everything their forebears fought and died for so that they could bequeath it to the successors, and today's spendthrifts of liberty handed it all over without so much as a shot.

America -- a great idea, didn't last.

but are they getting the idea that people are fed up or are they treating it as astroturf and business as usual?

Claire McCaskill's open secrets summary. Follow the money. I did notice she is in debt at this moment. Maybe some of the Tea Party members should hold up signs telling her to pay her bills.

This one of the comments posted underneath the article:

So, this site and Instapundit are supporting a group of people waving loopy signs intimidating a Senator's staffers? Isn't that what ACORN does? Remember that bus tour of executives' homes? Isn't that the same thing: intimidation and implicit threats of violence?

First off, what intimidation? All I read is that the staffers complained to the cops that they *felt threatened*, I did not see any proof, indicators of such. More importantly, THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN EXERCISING FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS OUTSIDE THE OFFICE OF AN ELECTED MOC AND THE HOME OF A PRIVATE CITIZEN.

To compare these is just so dopey, it makes me crazy!
