Mark Davis is on for 3 hours in Dallas right before Rush.

I don’t know why Rush uses him so much ... my guess is that he is readily available at all times with not much notice.

He spoke at a tea party I attended and was excellent. He also writes a good column for the Dallas morning News (they throw in a conservative column every few days).

But, I just cannot like the guy. He usually irritates me within 5 minutes.

Are you serious? I know plenty of people with 8-5 jobs who are ‘out’ as often as Rush if not more often. Why listen if you are so often disappointed? I’m just glad Rush is on the air at all!

Agree with those who say he may get so disgusted he may opt out altogether. He doesn’t NEED to put himself through this... It may seem fun to you, but it’s a job to him and it is not easy; it is frustrating, and undoubtedly getting worse.

And what’s wrong with Mark Davis as a substitute? If you don’t care for his style, just tune out. You could do a lot worse than Davis as radio host.

He was pretty negative re: Sarah right after the election. That did him in for me. Never particularly cared for him, plus he’s boring. He does have those who like him and enjoy him though. He’s no Rush, that’s for sure. He seems like a nice guy though.

I'd love to have that job. I believe we have to decide if we want to “fight” or take “flight”. Unfortunately, the elected people have decided to take flight, but thank GOD for people like TGO who vocalize what I'm thinking! I don't play nice with the idiot lieberals I work with anymore. Just a few minutes ago, one was in here talking about “gun control” and ridiculing someone stocking up on guns because they were afraid the “government was going to snatch them”. I said, “I guess that's really different from the past 8 years of your side running around with your wet diaper cries that your speech was being suppressed?” She stomped out. You have to fight fire with fire or you'll be the one burnt down! I hope the Republicans realize this.
