I'll take that a step further: I believe Trig Palin and the attacks against him and his mother are the main reason:

More Americans now identify as pro-life

More Americans now identify as conservative.

Wow. You may be dead on target. (Do you remember when her youngest dtr licker her fingers and tried to get Trig's stubborn cowlick to behave? That was one of the sweetest moments I have ever seen on TV and I would imagine it struck a cord with millions. )

It is the people who walk the talk that garner respect in the end.

(Which is a VERY GOOD thing to hold over our congress and senate and executive branch....I want to know WHAT their health care plan, that we pay for, is right now...and what makes it so SPECIAL that they do not have to live under the crap they want to lay on all of us...and...I want to know if they will have to pay a penalty every year for NOT BEING a part of the new horror plan like we will if we OPT OUT.)
