You didn’t read the rest of my comments below the first remark — The Senate passed a resolution saying McCain was eligible to run after he had taken a lot of heat on his birth since he was born outside the Country. They did not do the same with Obama.
Actually, to be precise, Leahy had inserted in the resolution that McCain was born on U.S territory in the Canal Zone. That was not true according to the BC McCain submitted showing he was born in a hospital in Colon, Panama.
