So they made an issue about McCain, to try to cure Obama’s ineligibility by statute. Which, by the way, is null and void if it contravenes the black-letter law of the Constitution itself, which no doubt it will be found to have done, when the issue is eventually adjudicated by the Supreme Court.

No telling, esp. with even conservative radio commentators like Michael Medved talking it down as wacko stuff and not giving people a hearing on the grounds, as Medved put it, that no judge is going to touch this with a ten-foot pole. Well, Patrick Henry and Benjamin Franklin could have said the same and stayed home, after the Peter Zenger case showed how far the British were prepared to go to slap down colonial opinion.
