That’s what I was hoping for - ONE state that would require long-form birth certificates from ANY candidate confirming eligibility for office. I want to see if Zero forgoes OK in the primaries to avoid producing it. (And total congrats on the voter ID bill - well done!)
That would speak volumes if he skips us. I was so happy to see them submit the bill requiring proof and knowing that our chances of Cong Mary Fallin winning the Governor’s race are extremely high, it will be a done deal before 2012.
Worst thing that happened in the Country was Motor Voter. When my daughter and I registered, they never asked for ID — couldn’t believe it. The one good thing was that they sent the info back to Kendall County, TX, that we had registered in Cleveland County, OK, and Kendall County sent a postcard to us making sure we had reregistered in OK.
