No, I don't think so. The challenge to McCain's eligibility met the same fate as all the Obama challenges have - dismissed due to lack of standing.
It was not a requirement, but it should be for anyone running IMHO.
And I don't disagree with that at all. But it isn't, and with the Democrats in control of both houses it never will be. Not at the federal level at least.
They are trying to pass a law in OK to gain ballot access you have to provide proof of birth. Unfortunately we have to wait until Gov Doofus leaves office in Jan 2011 before that will ever be signed.
Doofus wouldn’t even sign the bill requiring photo ID to vote but they had a companion piece that put it to the vote of the people which he couldn’t stop.
