Hindu extremists using death threats to force Christians out of Nepal >>>

even the catholic press is politically correct, why can't they use the word CATHOLIC in their headline, it was a CATHOLIC cathedral that was bombed and a protestant pastor who received a letter, so who do you really think the extremists want out?

Warden Message: Nepal Extremist Threat Against Religious Workers, Congregations
CONSULAR AFFAIRS BULLETINS
South / Central Asia - Nepal
27 Jul 2009

U.S. Embassy Kathmandu released the following Warden Message on July 27:

This announcement is a reminder to American citizens visiting and residing in Nepal, especially those who attend religious services in the country, or are engaged in humanitarian work supported by religious organizations. The self proclaimed Nepal Defense Army, a local Hindu extremist group, continues to make threats to Americans and Nepalis who are perceived to be conducting religious outreach. In May 2009, a bomb was detonated in the Assumption Church, a local Catholic Church in Kathmandu. Three persons died and twelve were injured. While the Embassy has no specific information as to future attacks, it does encourage Americans to avoid large congregational gatherings and to continue to be vigilant about your surroundings.

For additional information, please refer to “A Safe Trip Abroad” found at http://travel.state.gov. Americans living or traveling in Nepal are encouraged to register with the U.S. Embassy through the State Department’s travel registration website https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ui/ The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu is located at Maharajgunj.
