Wow. In the editorial page of The Washington Post, our soon-to-be ex-governor just delivered a howler of a jeremiad: If President Obama's cap and trade proposal for carbon emissions becomes law, America will crumble.
Gov. Sarah Palin rolled out every device in the ultra-right arsenal of unsubstantiated declarations and sloppy logic. She shamelessly knits hysterical patriotism to a new energy-based species of Manifest Destiny. (We are ripe for economic growth and energy independence if we responsibly tap the resources that God created right underfoot on American soil). She touts the promise of the natural gas pipeline, conveniently leaving out the detail that she has quit this pet project of hers before really even starting it....

Because steve-b doesn’t like Palin.
Article by Lee Goodman, yep the democRATS have even spread to the great State Of Alaska. Just keep passing the barf bags. The Rats are going all out to stop the Palin Express because they know full well she is the only Pubbie who can beat Bam!!

Hey, Lee gets to wrap his fish in his own paper!!

I’d suggest those interested in “alternatives” work a little harder to make them competitive.
Yeah but Miller wasn’t the first to use the phrase.
Didn’t have to look too hard to find this one did you , Steve?
Wow.
comparing fossil fuel use to slavery— that’s a new one.
I thought Hansen’s holocaust analogy was a bit much
It matters not.
Once energy sources are competitive, the watermelon environmentalists “discover” that the energy source is dangerous.
This has happened with nuclear and hydroelectric. It will happen soon with wind if it continues to increase as a viable source.
The only prudent thing for humanity to do is bring capitalism to an end.
Honestly, the second paragraph would have been the envy of any Pravda writer back in the Cold War days.
Palin is a breath of fresh air over all the other GOP retreads. Romney, Gingrich, McCain, Huckabee....all global warming ideas to some degree. Palin has guts. Steve, you should respect her more. Who else is there?
