OMG. I have TriCare Prime now. I have to go on Medicare Sept. 1. I am scheduled for surgery the first week of Sept. and was told that Medicare would be my prime ins. and Tricare secondary to pick up the rest. If I have neither, I will not get the knee replacement probably because I have heard that under the new program I will probably be thought of as "too old" for the surgery and considering I have other health problems might not be "worthy" according to Obama's plan.

I have been fighting this bill, but who can fight as fast as Obama can push. It is sickening. I wish that man would get a real grip on what bad he is doing to our country, our seniors, our businesses and our children. He is totally evil.

I'm a recent retiree and am enrolled in Tricare Prime since my Primary Care Manager is 70 miles away and the nearest base is 200 miles away.

I was just told Healthnet, the administrator of Tricare North just lost the contract in a closed bid from Aetena. Now Aetena, in an effort to cut costs, will eliminate most Prime users. However, they say Active Duty Prime members and wounded warriors will not be affected. So, that leaves 177,000 affected retirees.

Former Prime members will be converted to Standard in April 10. And to further align with the adminitration’s intentions, copayments, and deductibles will be raised. So, there's no reason to pass a law. Just use the closed bid process and demand “change”.

So this is what our warriors get for serving this country? Sacrifice and get shafted.
