God bless and surround you all in His loving, merciful providence and grant the desires of your heart for Stephanie’s health.
Praying.
Prayers up.
My prayers are with you, too!
In agreement with the prayers posted. I also pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every step you take. May He give You peace that He is in control and His love flows towards you and Stephanie.
Holy God,
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Who died for Stephanie and Who suffered on the cross, bearing her sins and diseases and infirmities, we confess that You are Lord over this situation. And according to Your Word, by the stripes of Jesus Stephanie has been healed. We confess that You enlighten the minds of the medical staff and that doors for Stephanie’s restoration are open. We confess that NOTHING shall separate Stephanie or her family from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We confess Your peace is enveloping them at this very minute and that Your comfort and grace are surrounding them. Holy God, we thank You for sending forth Your ministering spirits to this family and to Stephanie, and may Your glory be revealed to all who are witnessing this situation. We give You all the praise, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

my heartfelt prayers are for you and her
Outrageous. Simply outrageous. My heart goes out to you and prayers do as well.
Prayers going up for Stephanie’s recovery and for your peace of mind.
What can one do but pray. Poor thing.
Praying for Stephanie and protection from those who are not with you on this. Hang in there. Do what your heart tells you.
May the Lord go before you and part the way.
Forgot this.

Evening prayer bump.
Our dear Lord has Stephanie in the palm of His infinite hand, and I pray for calm and clarity and love in your minds as you exert your parental rights regarding your child.
Fix your mind on the loving heart of Jesus and the Eternal love of God, and hold the hands of the Holy Spirit as you walk this walk through the valley of the shadow.
You have to calmly and lovingly explain to the medical staff that you are the one who will live with the consequences of the decisions. It is your mind that will be tortured with “should of, could of”, not theirs. Thus you must be the one who is comfortable with the decisions that all that can be done is done so that you have peace of mind that the decision on Stephanie’s life comes from God and was in her best interests, and not a decision that comes from the medical staff for their convenience or for their beliefs.
God will be with you, and my prayers are with you.
Love,
Patty
Don-o has a very good idea.
Once when I was having trouble getting medical staff to follow a patient’s wishes, I called on the hospital ethics committee to investigate. They came down on the side of the patient’s wishes, not the convenience and beliefs of the hospital staff.
If you do not get immediate cooperation, ask how to get in touch with the hospital ethics committee.
Joining with you in prayer.
Prayers continue....
Your ordeal is exactly what I went through with my mom.
The pressure for DNR is worse than time share salemen, used car salesmen, or anything I’ve ever seen or experienced.
My mom did die in their care. The same thing was happening with my dad and against medical advice I yanked him out of the hospital and he recovered. Before getting him out, they told me “you know he might die in the ambulance”
It’s like they want to kill the old people.
For me, I’ve got plenty of funds, so I hired private nursing who put a NG back in, and I also got Oxygen and a finger pulse ox monitor from private source. I also hired 24 hour watchers to tell me when he needed suctioning which I learned to do myself.
After about 1 week outside the hospital, he was eating without the NG and was off the O2.
I also was available 24 hrs. It was excruciatingly tough and probably not recommended for most people unless you have time, dedication, lots of money and intelligence to use the equipment, but the bottom line was every day in the hospital he was getting worse and every day out he is getting better.
